Founder Keziah Manluctao, who left her desk job as an automation consultant after turning to ice cream for comfort during the pandemic. Unable to travel and missing the food she remembered from her childhood in the Philippines, Keziah started to get creative in the kitchen and launched artisan ice cream company "Araw" (the Filipino word for ‘sun’ or ‘day’) in October 2021.
