From a young age, Urvashi was exposed to the wonderful world of tea through her grandfather, Jaideo Prasad, who was a tea grower in Assam, India. His passion, knowledge, and quest for the perfect cup of tea have been passed down to Urvashi to inspire JP’s Originals, born in lockdown 2020. Persistently disappointed with the offering from retailers, she set out to create a brand that would stand out from the crowd and be distinctly sustainable without compromising quality. The focus was incredibly simple: high quality, whole leaf teas with transparency on leaf grading & provenance.
